Product overviewThis pilot plant is designed for sublimation purification at pilot/laboratory scale. Standard designed volume is 500 mL; volumes can be customized smaller or larger. After sublimation, the cooling agent is replaced by a heating medium to release crystals adhered to the cooled deposition surface, allowing crystals to fall into the receiver without mechanical scraping.
Operation principleThe sublimed vapor deposits as crystals on a cooled deposition tube. At the end of the run, the cooling medium is switched to a heating medium to warm the deposition surface and detach the crystals, which then drop to the receiver below.
