System overview
Tangential flow filtration (TFF), also called cross-flow filtration (CFF), directs feed tangentially across flat membrane surfaces to generate shear that limits cake formation and keeps filtration rate stable. The BIO-TFF05 is a compact bench-top TFF set for laboratory and pilot-scale process development, enabling microfiltration and ultrafiltration using box-type flat membrane plates.

• Cell harvest and clarification of cell culture fluids
• Recovery, concentration and buffer exchange for antibodies and recombinant proteins
• Concentration and diafiltration/desalting of proteins, peptides and nucleic acids (DNA/RNA/oligonucleotides)
