Single-shaft shredder SSS Series

Introduction
Designed to recycle a wide range of materials. Suitable for plastics, paper, wood, fiber, rubber, organic waste and various non-metallic materials. Machine configuration (feed size, throughput, final particle size) can be adjusted to customer requirements. Shredded material can be used directly or further processed for size reduction.

Single-shaft shredder overview
The single-shaft shredder is suitable for plastics (film, jumbo bag, PET bottles, barriers, pipes, boards), hard plastics (lumps, purgings, engineering plastics such as ABS, PC, PPS), wood (timber, roots, pallets, packaging), industrial solid waste (cables, light metals such as aluminium scrap, appliance shells, circuit boards) and other materials (rubber, textiles, fibre and glass products).

Cutting principle
Cutting components include the rotor, rotor blades, counter blades and screen. Minimum clearance between rotor blade and counter blade is 0.1 mm. The rotor is driven by a motor through a speed reducer; rotor blades cut against counter blades. Material passes the screen when smaller than the mesh size; otherwise it receives additional cuts until it passes.
