Product introductionSingle-shaft shredder is designed to recycle a wide range of non-metallic materials and mixed solid wastes. It accepts plastics, paper, wood, fiber, rubber, organic waste and similar materials. Machine configuration (feed opening, throughput and final particle size) is customizable to customer requirements. After shredding the output can be used directly or sent to further size reduction steps. PLC control allows automatic start/stop and process monitoring. Automatic reverse sensors protect against overloads and jams. Typical throughput: 300 kg/h to 5,000 kg/h+ depending on model and material.
Cutting principleThe cutting assembly comprises rotor, rotor blades, counter blades and screen. The minimum mounting clearance between rotor blade and counter blade is 0.1 mm. The motor transmits torque to the rotor via a speed reducer; rotor blades cut material against the counter blades. Material smaller than the screen opening is discharged; oversized material is recirculated and cut again until it passes the screen.
