OverviewThe single-shaft shredder is designed to recycle a wide range of non-metallic materials and solid waste (plastics, paper, wood, fibre, rubber, organic waste, etc.). Feed size, throughput and final output size can be adjusted to customer requirements. Shredded material can be used directly or processed further (e.g. granulation).
IntroductionThe machine is suitable for films, bulk bags, PET bottles, plastic drums, pipes, plastic sheets, engineering plastics (ABS, PC, PPS), rubber, fibres, logs, roots, wooden pallets and packaging, cables, light metals (cans, aluminium scrap), appliances (TV housings, washers, refrigerators, PC casings, circuit boards), municipal, medical and industrial waste, textiles and glass-fibre composite products.
Cutting principleThe cutting section consists of a cutter rotor, cutting teeth, fixed knife and screen. Minimum installation gap between cutting tooth and fixed knife is 0.1 mm. The motor drives the cutter rotor through a gearbox at high speed; the rotor teeth and fixed knife perform the cutting. Material smaller than the screen aperture is discharged; oversized material is recirculated and cut again until required size is reached.
Advantages- Removable rotor knives for easy replacement and maintenance.
- Automatic feeding to improve production efficiency.
- Quick-change screen for accurate particle-size control.
- Gearbox with shock absorption to reduce stress on transmission components.
- Integrated rotor design ensuring correct tool spacing between moving and fixed knives.
- Protected bearings design, water- and dust-resistant to extend bearing life.
- PLC control with automatic counter-pressure sensor to prevent overload and blockages.
- Rotor cooling system for low-melting-point materials to avoid overheating and material burning.
CapacityDepending on model and material, typical throughput ranges from 300 kg/h to 5,000 kg/h or more (indicative value; actual output depends on material composition and discharge size).
Applications- Flexible plastics: films, bulk bags.
- Rigid plastics: PET bottles, drums, pipes, sheets, engineering plastics (ABS, PC, PPS).
- Wood: logs, roots, pallets and wooden packaging.
- Industrial and household waste: cables, light metals, appliance housings, municipal and medical/industrial waste.
- Other: rubber, textiles, glass-fibre composites, etc.
Feeding and performance noteSupply voltage and other parameters can be selected to customer requirements. Material composition and discharge size significantly affect productivity. Specifications may change without notice.
