Description

Overview
The CK51-HM series single-column CNC vertical turning and grinding compound machine integrates advanced turning and grinding functions for heavy and large-diameter components. Suited to industrial production of valves, automotive parts, grinding tools, aerospace and defence components and similar applications.

Main functional description
The crossbeam carries two CNC turrets: the right toolpost for turning operations and the left toolpost configured as a grinding tool carrier. A single clamping secures the workpiece for both turning and grinding cycles, reducing setups, improving dimensional accuracy and lowering production cost and labor intensity.

Grinding head
The grinding head uses a motorized electric spindle mounted at the lower end of the ram with water cooling to support long-duration continuous operation. The spindle provides high rotational speed, low noise, high torque and stable performance for precision grinding tasks.

Spindle and workbench
The workbench features a thermo-symmetric design. The main spindle uses a high-precision adjustable radial-clearance double-row short cylindrical roller bearing for radial support and a high-precision thrust rolling bearing for axial guidance. Rails can be equipped with cross roller bearings as an option.
