Sound level sensor WS302

Overview
The WS302 LoRaWAN® sound level sensor measures and reports environmental noise in decibels for indoor monitoring and alerting. It supports A and C frequency weighting, optional fast-time weighting, and multiple reported sound metrics suitable for classrooms, offices, hospitals and other occupied spaces.

Highlights
WS302 provides continuous sound monitoring over LoRaWAN®, reporting SPL (actual), Leq (equivalent continuous level) and Lmax (maximum level). Selectable weighting and time-constant settings adapt the sensor to steady or transient noise environments.

LoRaWAN® Connectivity

Power & Battery
Powered by 2 × ER14505 (2700 mAh) Li-SOCl2 replaceable cells. Typical battery life (fast weighting disabled, 10-min reporting, 25°C): ~5 years (SF7, EU868 & US915); ~3.3 years (SF10, EU868); ~2.4 years (SF10, US915). Fast-time weighting reduces these values (example: ~1.5–1.7 years depending on region/SF).

Cloud & Data Management
Sensor data can be forwarded to IoT cloud platforms for dashboards, visualization, threshold rules and real-time alerts. Mobile apps are supported for device provisioning and management.

NFC Configuration

• Configure and power on/off the device via NFC using the mobile ToolBox app
• Typical flow: install ToolBox → enable NFC → attach phone to device → authenticate and apply configuration

Installation
Mount on flat surfaces using screws or double-sided tape. Compact housing (68 × 65 × 20.5 mm) fits interior environments and supports discreet installation.
