Overview
The EM300-MLD membrane leak detection sensor provides broad-area conductive liquid detection using a 400 × 400 × 0.25 mm membrane. Designed for under-appliance and floor/ceiling applications, the device transmits alarms via LoRaWAN® and supports Milesight D2D for direct device interactions.

Membrane & customization
The device uses a printed leakage-detecting film (400 × 400 × 0.25 mm standard). The membrane can be trimmed vertically to fit installation constraints and larger-size customized membranes are supported for zone-based coverage.

Data handling & reliability

Standard supply: 1 × 4000 mAh ER18505 Li-SOCL2 battery (8000 mAh optional). Example guideline lifetime: around 10 years (SF7, EU868 & US915) under test conditions; actual life depends on settings (SF, region, leak frequency/duration).

Connectivity
LoRaWAN® (OTAA/ABP Class A) covering CN470/IN865/RU864/EU868/US915/AU915/KR920/AS923 variants. Transmit power and sensitivity comply with LoRaWAN operation. Compatible with standard LoRaWAN gateways and network servers. Milesight D2D enables direct node-to-node communication for reduced latency and deployment costs.

Cloud & management
Compatible with Milesight IoT Cloud for dashboards, automatic triggers, scheduled reports, real-time alerts and mobile (Android & iOS) device management.

NFC configuration

• Switch on/off and configure via NFC from a mobile phone or PC using Milesight ToolBox
• Typical workflow: install ToolBox → enable NFC → attach phone to device → verify password and configure

Installation
Transceiver supports wall screw mounting, 3M tape mounting and cable-tie mounting. Leakage-detecting film is mounted with 3M tape. Also suitable for placement on floors under appliances or across zones requiring broader coverage.
