OverviewParamount Waste Extraction provides solutions for controlling static electricity and managing sticky waste within conveying and waste extraction systems. Static charge can be generated intentionally or unintentionally (for example during unreeling or by friction from moving plastics), causing waste to adhere to separation screens, drop chutes or duct interiors.
Static Control SolutionParamount's static control solution uses a dual water and compressed-air mixing head that atomises water into the duct airflow to dissipate static charge. The system offers multiple nozzle sizes and adjustable mixture settings so it can be configured for a wide range of duct diameters and types. The unit is designed for straightforward retrofit to existing systems and follows simple installation instructions to reduce static-related issues and improve extraction performance.
Sticky Waste SolutionsTo address sticky labels and adhesive-backed trims, Paramount designs and manufactures custom pickup hoods and ducting components finished with specialised non-stick coatings to reduce adhesion and blockages. An oil-air mist system is also available that applies a thin oil-and-water mist to contact points within the waste system. The oil-air mist can be supplied as a turnkey package or as a retrofit to help prevent sticky waste from adhering to components.
