Introduction
The Qcut 250 M is a wet, manual cut-off machine designed for controlled metallographic and sample preparation cutting. The hood folds inward to give full access to the cutting chamber, and a large rounded viewing window ensures clear observation of the cutting process. The cutting-wheel cooling is integrated into the wheel guard and the robust stainless steel worktable features replaceable wear plates and transverse grooves for fixture alignment.

Features
Fine dynamic cut-off
Vertical cutting movement is executed manually via a lever that provides precise, jerk-free control. Lever length and angle are adjustable to adapt stroke feel, and a depth limiter enables repeatable cutting depths.

Illumination
The large rounded window provides a wide field of view of the cutting chamber. An optional flexible LED work light can be fitted for direct illumination of the cutting area.

Safety
Integrated standstill monitoring prevents opening while the cutting wheel is rotating. The door interlock and guarded wheel cover support safe operator access during setup and maintenance.

Consumables
For reliable and efficient cutting, use QATM cut-off wheels and recommended consumables matched to the material. Correct wheel selection and coolant ensure quality cuts and longer tool life.

Clamping devices
A wide range of clamping devices and vices (e.g. clamping vice 80) are available. Transverse grooves on the stainless table allow precise alignment and secure fixation of fixtures.
