Introduction
Precision quick-clamping devices for cut-off operations on small components. The Qtool 40 Series includes two variants: the eccentric clamp Qtool 40 for fast, repeatable clamping and the screw clamp Qtool 40 S with a star handle for manual dosing of clamping force. An adjustable rear stop and a wide program of interchangeable clamping jaws allow adaptation to component geometry.

Clamping jaws and application notes

• General: Extensive jaw program to customize the Qtool to different component shapes and sizes.
• Round components: Use prismatic or bevelled jaws to create a defined 3-point contact and prevent slipping; round parts can also be clamped vertically using the cross prism and cut above the clamping device.
• Large components: High jaws increase clamping surface for geometrically large parts.
• Clamping the cut-off side: Slotted jaws clamp the cut-off side to reduce burr formation and minimize post-cut grinding before mounting.

• Standard jaw (supplied): height 25 mm, width 40 mm, universal (scope: 1 spare jaw)
• Bevelled jaw: height 25 mm, width 40 mm, 5° bevel for pressing down round material; for round parts up to Ø 50 mm (scope: 1 jaw)
• High jaw: height 45 mm, width 50 mm, for large components (scope: 2 jaws)
• High slotted jaw: height 45 mm, width 80 mm, keeps separated component clamped after cutting (scope: 2 jaws)
• Cross prism jaw: height 25 mm, width 40 mm, horizontal and vertical prism for 3-point support, vertical prism max Ø 17 mm (scope: 1 jaw)
• High slotted with prism: height 45 mm, width 80 mm, horizontal prism max Ø 17 mm, sample remains clamped after cutting (scope: 2 jaws: 1 slotted high + 1 slotted with prism)
