Product descriptionThe EAs modules are designed for building automation, industrial automation and infrastructure applications. Available in 4, 8 or 12 TE depending on IO count, these I/O modules fit standard 45 mm cutout enclosures and in standard control cabinets.
Two interface variants are provided for each EAs module: one with onboard RS485 (MODBUS/RTU Slave) and one with Ethernet (MODBUS/TCP). All modules also support a simple ASCII protocol for integration with media control systems or IoT controllers (e.g. Node-RED, NodeJs, Python). Ethernet versions support MODBUS/RTU over Ethernet in addition to MODBUS/TCP. All modules include a wide-range power supply 12–48 VDC.
ConfigurationUse the free RESIConfigurator software to configure and test EAs modules. Each product is delivered with a complete ASCII command list and a MODBUS register map with detailed explanations.

Functional notes- Digital inputs: types for DC signals up to 48 Vdc and for AC/DC signals between 12 and 250 V (AC/DC).
- Relays: versions with maximum switching currents of 6 A or 8 A; dedicated power relays for capacitive loads (up to 16 A, ≤220 µF).
- Contact material of mechanical relays: AgSnO2.
- Relay contacts: some modules with common supply, changeover relays (Form C) or normally closed/normally open variants (Form A).
- Solid state relays (Form A) available, e.g. 250 Vac/dc ≤ 1 A or 60 Vac/dc ≤ 3 A / ≤ 6 A.
