Description

Overview
IOs - Shades & Blinds IO modules are designed for building automation, industrial automation and infrastructure applications. Available in 4, 8 or 12 MU sizes depending on IO count, these modules fit standard 45 mm switchboard cutouts and integrate into control cabinets for centralized or distributed automation.

Interfaces & Protocols
  • RS485 interface with MODBUS/RTU Slave protocol
  • Ethernet interface with MODBUS/TCP Server protocol
  • Simple ASCII protocol for integration with media control systems or IoT controllers (Node-RED, NodeJs, Python)
  • Ethernet variants additionally support MODBUS/RTU via Ethernet

Shades & Blinds Control
Specific IO modules in this family control 4 or 8 shades/blinds with time-based control. Each motor is switched using two relay outputs (30 Vdc / 250 Vac, 6 A, AGS NO2). Select variants include additional digital inputs (12–250 Vac/dc) to connect local push-buttons for manual operation and safety interlocks.

Configuration
Use the free RESIConfigurator software to parameterize, commission and test IO modules. Each product provides a full ASCII command list and a MODBUS register table with detailed explanations for seamless integration.

Available variants / options
  • IOs-Interface RS485: ASCII + MODBUS/RTU Slave protocol
  • IOs-Interface Ethernet: ASCII + MODBUS/TCP Server protocol
  • IOs-shades&blinds: 4x shades & blinds (no inputs)
  • IOs-shades&blinds: 4x shades & blinds (10 digital inputs)
  • IOs-shades&blinds: 8x shades & blinds (no inputs)
  • IOs-shades&blinds: 8x shades & blinds (20 digital inputs)

Documentation & Attachments (available for product family)
Product-specific catalogs, attachments, user manuals, MODBUS/ASCII command lists and declarations of conformity are provided for the Shades & Blinds IO modules to support integration and certification needs.
