Description

Product overview
The EAs series comprises IO modules designed for building automation, industrial automation and infrastructure projects. Available widths: 4, 8 or 12 TE (depending on total IO count), suitable for standard control cabinets with a 45 mm cut-out.

Interfaces & Protocols
Modules are offered in two main versions: RS485 with MODBUS/RTU (slave) and Ethernet with MODBUS/TCP. All EAs modules also support a simple ASCII protocol for integration with media control systems or IoT controllers (e.g. Node-RED, NodeJs, Python). Ethernet models additionally support MODBUS/RTU over Ethernet.

Configuration
Modules can be configured and tested using the RESIConfigurator software. Each product includes a complete ASCII command list and a MODBUS register table with detailed explanations.

Output module functions
  • Digital outputs for DC signals up to ≤ 30 V.
  • Groups of outputs with separate power supplies allow combinations such as 12 VDC and 24 VDC outputs on the same module.
  • Output modules with up to 700 mA per channel provide extensive diagnostics (thermal overload, short circuit, open wire and overcurrent detection). Outputs are short-circuit proof.
  • RESI-Lxxx products: maximum support 350 mA per channel (reduced diagnostics, cost-efficient option).

Available variants (selection)
  • EAs interfaces: RS485 — ASCII + MODBUS/RTU (Slave)
  • EAs interfaces: Ethernet — ASCII + MODBUS/TCP (Server)

Available output configurations (selection)
  • 6xDA (≤ 30 Vdc, ≤ 700 mA)
  • 12xDA (≤ 30 Vdc, ≤ 700 mA)
  • 24xDA (≤ 30 Vdc, ≤ 700 mA)
  • 30xDA (≤ 30 Vdc, ≤ 350 mA)
  • 30xDA (≤ 30 Vdc, ≤ 700 mA)
  • 60xDA (≤ 30 Vdc, ≤ 350 mA)
  • 60xDA (≤ 30 Vdc, ≤ 700 mA)
  • 90xDA (≤ 30 Vdc, ≤ 700 mA)

Notes
All modules feature a wide-range power supply of 12–48 VDC.
