Description

Overview
Industrial I/O modules for building automation, industrial control and infrastructure applications. Available in 4MU, 8MU or 12MU sizes to fit a 45 mm switchboard cutout. These models provide relay-only outputs with selectable channel counts to match switching and control requirements.

Interfaces & Protocols
  • RS485 interface with MODBUS/RTU Slave protocol
  • Ethernet interface with MODBUS/TCP Server protocol (Ethernet versions also support MODBUS/RTU via Ethernet)
  • Simple ASCII command protocol for media control and IoT integration (Node-RED, NodeJs, Python)

Power Supply
Wide-range DC input: 12–48 Vdc.

Available relay/output configurations
  • 8x changeover relays (Form C) – ≤30 Vdc, ≤250 Vdc, ≤8 A
  • 8x relays (Form A, normally open) – ≤30 Vdc, ≤250 Vdc, ≤6 A
  • 12x relays (Form A) – ≤30 Vdc, ≤250 Vdc, ≤6 A
  • 16x relays (Form A) – ≤30 Vdc, ≤250 Vdc, ≤6 A
  • 24x relays (Form A) – ≤30 Vdc, ≤250 Vdc, ≤6 A
  • 8x power relays (Form A) – ≤30 Vdc, ≤250 Vdc, ≤16 A, capacitive load handling up to 220 µF (special module for switching lighting)
  • Solid State Relay variants (Form A): 250 Vac/dc ≤1 A; 60 Vac/dc ≤3 A; 60 Vac/dc ≤6 A; multiple channel counts available (e.g. 10x SSR, 20x SSR)

Relay technology & options
Mechanical relays use AgSnO2 contact material. Modules may share a common power supply. Contact forms include Form C (changeover) and Form A (normally open). Solid state relay (SSR) versions are offered in several current and voltage ratings for silent switching and high-cycle applications.

Configuration & Documentation
Supported by the RESIConfigurator software for parameterization and testing. Each unit is delivered with a complete ASCII command list and a MODBUS register table with detailed explanations to simplify integration and validation.
