CONTACT-RLBFI Frequency Scanning Level Sensor is designed to detect levels in tanks and provide empty pipe detection or dry-running protection for pumps. A high frequency scan signal is radiated from the sensor tip into the tank. There are two output signals, normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC). The NO and NC output signals can be inverted. By means of the Flex Programmer, the output signal can be damped in the event of a fluctuating level, for example when filling the tank. Compensation for foam, bubbles and condensation as well as for sticky fluids can be set in the Flex Programmer software. The CONTACT-RLBFI level switch measures liquids such as water and oil. Dry materials such as coal dust or plastic granules can also be measured. The measurement is accurate and not affected by the mounting position in the tank. Thanks to its specialized design and high-end materials such as stainless steel and PEEK, the sensor meets the highest standards in terms of application requirements in the industry. ATEX approvals for gas and dust allow use in all areas.
