Product overviewBlister cartoning packing line automates the end-to-end production of blister packs and their loading into cartons. PVC or thermoformable sheets are formed into blister cavities. Solid oral dose products (tablets, capsules, pills) are fed into cavities via configured feeders. Blisters are sealed with aluminum lidding foil by heat and pressure to provide tamper-evident closure.
Integrated inspection and cartoningMachine-integrated vision systems inspect for defects such as empty cavities, misaligned seals, cut errors or missing inserts. Accepted blisters proceed to the cartoning module where pre-folded cartons are erected, filled with blisters and package inserts, and sealed. Rejection stations divert non-conforming units. The line supports cGMP-compliant workflows and is configurable for different product formats and production rates.

How it works- Thermoforming/Cold forming: sheet material is formed into blister cavities using dies.
- Product loading: products are placed into cavities by automated feeders (brush, guide rail, oscillating, etc.).
- Sealing: lidding foil (aluminum) is heat-sealed to the blister base.
- Cutting: formed blisters are trimmed to final shape using precision dies.
- Inspection: vision systems detect defects (missing units, seal misalignment, missing inserts); defective units are rejected.
- Cartoning: blisters and inserts are loaded into erected cartons; flaps are folded and sealed (tuck-in or glue); finished cartons are discharged for labeling or secondary packaging.
Main Features- Integrated process flow combining forming, loading, sealing, inspection and cartoning to minimise manual handling and cross-contamination risk.
- Multi-level vision inspection for missing product, seal integrity and insert presence with automatic rejection to maintain yield ≥ 99.5%.
- Modular design with servo drives to enable rapid tool changes and support multiple packaging formats and continuous production.
