Product overviewPlastic ampoule forming, filling and sealing machine performs forming, filling and high-temperature sealing of plastic ampoules (PVC blisters) in a single integrated process. PVC sheets are heated and thermoformed with compressed air using interchangeable molds. Filling is performed with peristaltic, piston or ceramic pumps; the filling nozzle features anti-drip reflux to prevent contamination and supports cGMP-compliant production. A high-temperature sealing unit provides leak-proof sealing, followed by batch/lot printing and punching into individual sealed ampoules.
How it worksThe machine heats PVC sheets, forms cavities by air pressure and molds, dispenses product precisely into each cavity via the selected pump with anti-drip reflux, heat-seals the blister, prints batch/trace information and punches ampoules as individual sealed units.

Filling pump technologies (selection guidance)Peristaltic pumps- Product contacts only the tubing (excellent contamination control)
- Accuracy typically around ±1–2%
- Good chemical compatibility and easy changeover (tubing is consumable)
- Lower initial cost but higher long-term consumable cost; potential pulsation effects
Piston pumps- Motor-driven piston for volumetric dispensing; accuracy typically ±0.5% or better
- Stable across varying viscosities and higher-pressure filling
- Requires more complex cleaning/validation (seals and valves contact product)
Ceramic pumps- Rotary piston/ceramic rotor design offering ultra-precision, often ±0.5% or better
- Excellent durability, corrosion resistance and CIP/SIP capability
- Higher initial cost; ceramic parts require careful handling
NotesThe optimal pump choice depends on required accuracy, product sensitivity/value, cleaning and validation requirements, frequency of product changeover and total operating cost.
