Description

Overview
Full‑servo blister-to-carton packaging line automates sealing of products (tablets, capsules) into pre‑formed plastic blisters and inserts them into cartons. Engineered for high‑speed pharmaceutical production with hygienic cGMP compliance and precision servo motion control.

Process steps
  • Feeding: Products loaded into blisters via a customised guide feeder.
  • Vision inspection: Cameras detect defects to ensure quality compliance.
  • Sealing: Heat or pressure seals a foil/plastic lid to secure products.
  • Cartoning: Blister packs transferred into a cartoning machine feeder and packed into cartons.
  • Integration: Systems can connect with secondary packaging (case packers) for end‑to‑end automation.

Applications
Suitable for pharmaceutical tablets, capsules and pills; designed for facilities requiring scalable, hygienic, high‑speed packaging and serialization integration.

Benefits
Reduced labor and contamination risk, scalable production and energy‑efficient operation enabled by servo drives. Offers real‑time monitoring, automatic rejection of defective blisters and built‑in sensors for pressure, temperature and count tracking.

Main Features
Automates cavity forming, roller heat sealing, precision die‑cutting and loading into pre‑formed cartons. Downward flatbed forming with roller heat sealing achieves up to 200 cycles/min for blister production. Material‑saving interlocking punching layout, AI‑powered vision inspection for missing/damaged tablets, and rotary quad‑split dual‑planetary pre‑forming units for efficient large‑format box shaping.

Main Parts
  • Forming Station
  • Unloading Track
  • Cutting Station
  • Servo Oscillation Feeding
  • Servo Cartons Delivery
  • Folded Ears
  • Tongue Inserted

Technical specifications
  • Production: Up to 130 cartons/min (page specification) — modular outputs configurable from ~120 to 320 packs per minute depending on line configuration.
  • Blister machine capacity: 27,000 blisters/hour.
  • Maximum forming area and depth: 205 × 260 × 12 mm.
  • Total power: 24 kW.
  • Cartoner capacity (table entry): 320 cartons/min.
  • Carton size range: L:70–180 mm; W:35–80 mm; H:14–50 mm.
  • Carton board weight: 250–360 g/m².
  • Precision: Servo‑driven motion control with high repeatability (up to ±0.05 mm in servo contexts; typical forming/sealing/carton loading accuracy ±0.5 mm).
  • Compatibility: Suitable for ALU/ALU and ALU/PVC blister types; tool‑free quick‑change system reduces format changeover to under 15 minutes; integrates with vision inspection and third‑party track‑and‑trace/serialization systems.
  • Quality control: AI‑powered vision inspection for missing/damaged tablets, misalignment, color deviation and leaks; automatic rejection of defective PVC/aluminium foil interfaces; sensors monitor pressure, temperature and counts with automatic shutdown on deviation.
  • Design: Stainless‑steel contact surfaces for contamination control; ISO‑certified components; modular design for customization and scalability.
