Product overview
The 3S-WS-I-A is a cup anemometer (wind speed sensor) that measures horizontal wind speed in m/s by converting cup rotation into an electrical signal. The sensing element is a reed switch actuated by a rotating magnet coupled to the cups. The sensor is supplied with mounting hardware and a 3 m LIYYC11Y PUR cable. An optional heater is available for icing-prone locations. The housing is anodized aluminum with ABS cups and includes a transducer box.
