Compact cup-star anemometer for measuring wind speed in solar PV plants and industrial sites. Provides Modbus RTU (RS485) output for direct integration with Modbus dataloggers, SCADA and inverters. Supplied with a 3 m LIYYC11Y PUR cable resistant to UV and weather.

What is Wind Speed Sensor and how does it work?
The device measures horizontal wind speed using a cup-star rotor coupled to a reed-switch counting mechanism. Outputs are processed into wind speed (m/s) and transmitted over Modbus RTU. The sensor body is anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance; cups are ABS. A separate transducer box houses the signal electronics.
