Product Overview
The plastic wind direction sensor 3S-WD-P is designed for outdoor meteorological and environmental monitoring applications. With an analog output (0–3.3 V) and a vane-driven Hall Effect position sensor, it provides continuous wind direction data suitable for integration with SCADA, PLCs and data loggers. Wind direction data supports analyses required by IEC 61724-1:2021, including module temperature correlation and wind-related warranty assessments.

How It Works
The vane rotates with wind direction; an internal Hall Effect position sensor detects the vane angle and converts it into an analog voltage (0–3.3 V) that is transmitted to receiver units or logging systems.

Installation and Maintenance

• Maintenance: Low-maintenance ASA housing. Regular cleaning recommended in dusty or polluted environments. Inspect monitoring systems at least annually according to IEC 61724-1:2021.
