The CN60 micro perforator is a lightweight and versatile model with a very small dimension, designed to make micro holes of various diameters on moving material, and is to be inserted as a host unit in film processing lines such as slitters, extruders, printing or welding machines, and on all production lines that process film continuously.
Perforation is done through the perforating unit consisting of a needle shaft and a counter roller. The film passes through the two rollers, which, upon entering into contrast, perforate the material. The rollers are approached through two manually adjustable micrometer screws. The CN60 moves through the film drag, adapting perfectly to the speed* of the host machine or line.
Main components
Perforation group consisting of needle shaft (1) and counter roller (2) through which the moving film passes
Pneumatic system (to enable or disable perforation)
Manual penetration adjustment system, using micrometer screws
Needle shaft
The needle shaft (1) consists of a steel roller with a chrome-plated rod inside, on which the cylinders (bronze sectors with needles infixed) are mounted. It is possible to equip the needle shaft with spaced needle cylinders to micro-perforate multiple tracks in the material or to mount adjacent cylinders to perforate the entire useful surface of the film. The cylinders mount needles for holes with minimum Ø 80µ and max Ø 1mm.
Counter roller
Depending on the material to be micro-perforated, the counter roller (2) can be requested in ground bristles or rubber.
