The PC-BP model pre-cut machine is a versatile equipment designed to make longitudinal cuts of various lengths on moving material, and is to be inserted as a host unit in film processing lines such as slitters, extruders, printing or welding machines, and on all production lines that process moving film. The PC-BP is a motorized machine with a synchronization system that ensures perfect and homogeneous cuts on a variety of materials and for numerous applications. The device is suitable for making breathable film for passing air under pressure or for easy opening on bags, pouches or tetrapaks. It can also be used to form nets for packaging fruits and vegetables. The running film arrives at the unit and is pre-cut by the blade roller in contrast to the support roller supporting the material. The rollers are approached through the pneumatic system, and the blade penetration is adjusted by two micrometer screws. The pre-cut machine can be requested with the integration of a motor to perfectly match the speed of the host machine or line. The circular blades are interchangeable, allowing the user to replace them at each change of processing. Depending on the type of blades chosen, longitudinal cuts can be made with a maximum cut length (2) of 15mm and a minimum distance (1) between cuts of 2mm. The Cutting Unit consists of the blade shaft (1 ) and the contrast roller (2) through which the material passes. The blade shaft (1) consists of a steel roller on which easily interchangeable circular blades are mounted.
