Product overviewThe MTTDC is a one- or two-channel ultrasonic transit-time flow meter for measuring volumetric flow in pipes and ducts. It comprises a digital signal processing (DSP) unit and up to four speed transducers. The meter measures flow velocity by comparing upstream-to-downstream and downstream-to-upstream ultrasonic pulse transit times at an angle α to the flow. Clamp-On transducers mount externally without creating pipe restriction or pressure drop. The DSP unit uses cross-correlation and FFT processing to enable reliable operation in demanding fluids, including those with high suspended solids or air content. The MTTDC can deliver two independent measurements with a combined maximum of two chord planes.
