Product overview
The MTTMP is a one- or two-channel ultrasonic transit-time flow meter for measuring flow in pipes and ducts. It comprises an advanced DSP-based processing unit and up to four velocity transducers. Ultrasonic pulses are transmitted upstream→downstream and downstream→upstream at an angle α to the flow; the transit time difference is proportional to liquid velocity. Clamp-On transducers mounted externally do not obstruct the flow and avoid pressure drop.

Performance and signal processing
The meter’s DSP unit with Cross Correlation and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) processing enables reliable operation in demanding applications, including liquids with high suspended solids, significant air content or high acoustic noise. The system can deliver two independent measurements with a combined maximum of 2 chord planes.
