Product overview
The MTTMC is a one- or two-channel ultrasonic transit-time flow meter for pipes and ducts. It combines a DSP-based processing unit with up to four speed transducers. The meter measures the difference in transit time between ultrasonic pulses sent upstream and downstream at an angle α to the flow direction. Clamp‑On transducers are mounted externally and do not introduce flow restriction or pressure drop. The DSP computer with Cross Correlation and FFT algorithms enables reliable operation in demanding media, including liquids with high suspended solids, entrained air or strong acoustic noise. The system supports two independent measurements up to a total of 2 chord planes.
