Product description
Widely used in mobile communications, IoT projects, automotive IoT components, Industry 4.0 and medical industries for local activation and subsequent metallization of 3D plastic parts using LDS (Laser Direct Structuring). The system enables precise laser activation and patterning on injection-molded three-dimensional components to form conductive traces via electroless plating.

Features
The system uses a motion control platform to guide the laser along the electronic circuit trajectory and project the beam onto three-dimensional plastic parts. Laser activation alters the doped plastic surface, exposing metal atoms that serve as a seed layer for electroless plating. During plating the activated areas grow a metal layer (surface metallization) of approximately 5–10 μm, enabling three-dimensional circuit formation on the part.
