WEG steam turbines, CT-A and CTE-A lines, are designed with axial or sub-axial steam flow, and reaction technology. The sub-axial exhaust design makes it possible to keep the pedestal and the rear bearing of the steam turbine externally isolated from the exhaust casing of the equipment, differently from the conventional steam turbine with axial exhaust. This innovation allows the operator to access the turbine's rear bearing without the need of entering in the turbine's exhaust casing, thus optimizing the lead time for the equipment´s inspection and maintenance. As the CT and CTE lines, they operate with up to 140 bar inlet steam pressure and 540 °C inlet steam temperature
