The AG10 Line of Alternators offer an excellent cost effectiveness, simple maintenance concept and great performance when continuous, prime power or standby operation. Stator winding with 2/3-pitch up to 315 frame, which reduces the voltage harmonic distortion in applications with non-linear loads. Encapsulated voltage regulator protected against vibration and salty environment. Rotating diodes easy access to diodes. Auxiliary winding (I-PMG) for power supply of the regulator, without the need of external PMG. It keeps the short-circuit current. Exciter stator with permanent magnets which ensures the built-up of the alternator without requiring external power supply. The AG10 alternator line was developed on a modern platform designed to meet the demands of the global market. One of its key differentiating features is the higher power density, delivering increased power output while maintaining the same frame size — the result of significant innovations in electromagnetic design. These include a newly optimized layout for the stator core laminations and pole shoe, along with a redesigned slot geometry. Such advancements have resulted in higher efficiency and lower reactance, which in turn provide fuel savings and reduced voltage drop during load transients. Moreover, WEG has placed strong emphasis on the mechanical design, ensuring improved accessibility, easier operation, and simplified maintenance of the alternator.
