Notes of Automatic Open Cup Flash Point Tester
  • (1) It is best to place the instrument in a ventilated kitchen during testing to prevent external airflow from affecting the test results.
  • (2) The flash point sensor cannot be immersed in the sample, otherwise it will affect the measurement results.
  • (3) Do not use force to pull the detection head or swipe the scanning rod.
  • (4) Please note that the two circular rings of the flash point sensor should not come into contact, otherwise it may cause misoperation.
  • (5) When repeating the sample, it should be ensured that the temperature of the furnace plate and sample is below 56 ℃. Excessive temperature can affect the measurement results.
  • (6) Each time the sample is replaced, the open cup should be kept clean, and a good contact surface should be maintained between the outer bottom of the open cup and the heating furnace.
  • (7) The sample should be placed in an open cup slightly below the scale line, as the volume of the sample increases with temperature. The amount of samples loaded each time should be kept as consistent as possible.
