Product OverviewHigh Temperature Magnesia Stabilized Zirconia, also known as Magnesium Stabilized Zirconia Ceramic, is a newly presented material by INNOVACERA. This advanced ceramic is recognized for its exceptional refractory and insulating properties, attributed to its high oxygen ion conductivity, high strength and toughness, and excellent thermal shock resistance. It is specifically manufactured for applications requiring clean melts at temperatures above 1900°C, making it ideal for melting superalloys and precious metals. The material can withstand temperatures up to 2200°C.
Material Features- Porosity: 1-18%, distinguishing it from standard MgO-ZrO2.
- High mechanical strength and toughness.
- Excellent thermal shock resistance.
- Good corrosion and erosion resistance.
- Low thermal expansion.
- High oxygen ion conductivity.
Applications- Sizing nozzles in continuous casting.
- Ladle slide plate (MSZ plate for Ladle Skateboard) in steel production, especially for high oxygen, high calcium, and high manganese steels.
- Setter plate in the metal powder industry and for electronic components such as ceramic capacitors, sensitive parts, and magnetic materials.
- Gas atomizing nozzle for the metal powder industry, suitable for almost all common metal and alloy powders.
Product Details- Sizing Nozzle: Made of Magnesia Zirconia, offering high mechanical strength, thermal shock resistance, corrosion and erosion resistance, and low thermal expansion. Installed at the bottom of the continuous casting tundish, allowing molten steel to flow into a mold. Nozzle diameter can be customized.
- MSZ Plate for Ladle Skateboard: Used in continuous casting of various steels, inlaid with ladle slide. Features high corrosion resistance and low expansion, increasing the working life of the skateboard and reducing costs. Dimensions are customizable.
- Magnesia Stabilized Zirconia Setter Plate: Offers good chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, and no chemical reaction with fired ceramic parts. Widely used as setter plates for ceramic capacitors, sensitive parts, magnetic materials, and other electronic components. Max working temperature: 2600°C. Suitable for atmospheric, vacuum, and atmospheric reduction environments.
- Gas Atomizing Nozzle: Ideal for metal powder industry, with a maximum working temperature of 2200°C in air, vacuum, or gas protection environments.
