Overview The Z+F FlexScan® platform combines static high-end scanning quality with the speed and flexibility of mobile SLAM mapping. It is designed for time-sensitive and large-scale industrial and AEC applications such as building documentation, facility management, process plants, heritage recording and forensic surveying.

Universal mounting The Z+F FlexScan® 22 is compatible with backpacks, tripod carts, fixed tripods and robotic mounts. The Quick Mount System enables fast changes between support systems and allows datasets from different supports to be registered together for unified processing.

Camera system Z+F FlexScan® 22 includes a high-quality panoramic camera for colour mapping of mobile point clouds. The camera delivers high colour fidelity and wide dynamic range images to support accurate visual inspection and textured 3D models.

Project efficiency The platform supports project-adaptive configurations. Scanner and support system can be selected to optimise survey time, on-site resources and overall project costs according to specific site and scope requirements.

Easy data collection Mobile and static data are synchronized locally on an internal hard drive and written to a removable medium for backup and downstream processing. On-site workflows are simplified to reduce handling time and risk of data loss.

Workflow integration Captured data integrates with blue workflow® and Z+F LaserControl® and can be exported to standard point cloud and mesh formats for use in third-party CAD, BIM and processing software.

Measurement accuracy Z+F FlexScan® 22 benefits from the technology and range of the static Z+F IMAGER® 5016. Typical SLAM results reach accuracy up to 2.5 mm; each scanned profile contains approximately 10,000 points enabling fine detail capture. SLAM outputs can be refined using control points or survey ties for projects requiring very high accuracy.
