Dynamic Mechanical Tester
DForce is a low force mechanical testing system capable of performing static and dynamic tests to 15 Hz in tension or compression. Typical uses include determining the force-deflection properties and fatigue life of biomaterials, composites, medical devices, packaging, products and more. DForce actuators are linear motors that come in three frame sizes providing continuous forces from 20N to 275N and peak forces from 90N to 1850N. Actuator strokes range from 25mm to 300mm. Brookfield Engineering introduces the New CT3 Texture Analyzer, the most powerful, lowest cost, stand-alone Texture Analyzer ever produced. This new generation instrument features not only the traditional Compression Mode, but now includes a brand new Tension Mode. Now manufacturers can test their products and the packaging as well. The large vertical work area of the CT3 is ideal for large sample placement. This also allows for increased travel distance maximizing the functionality of the new Tension Mode.
The CT3 offers load cells with expanded range capability from 100 grams to 50 kilograms. The 10kg load limit more than doubles the limit of it’s predecessor, the LFRA Texture Analyzer. The Crane Joint Rate Simulator (JRS Opta) is used for assembly tool performance testing. This is achieved by accurate and repetitive simulation of the joint without the use of a threaded fastener. The JRS can be configured across a range of joints from hard (20 degrees) to soft (720 degrees). Once the tool has finished its test cycle, the JRS Opta automatically releases the brake ready for the next test cycle. This has the advantage of speeding up the tool test procedure because there are no fixings to undo and no joint kits to back off and re-grease between test cycles

DMA 242 C - Dynamic mechanical Analyzer
The versatility of the DMA 242 C is particularly clear from the variety of sample holders. Depending on the type and consistency of your sample, you can investigate the visco-elastic properties accurately over a wide modulus range.
A stainless steel container facilitates measurements in various media (immersion tests). With the use of a thermostat, it is also possible to carry out reliable extended time tests at higher temperatures.
The DMA 242 C operates in the broad temperature range of -170 to 600°C. The low-temperature range is achieved with the proven, low-consumption CC 200 L liquid nitrogen cooling system. The minimal temperature gradient over a sample length of up to 60 mm in the bending mode is unique.
An intelligent purge gas system provides for a defined sample atmosphere and protects the measurement electronics from any gases evolving from the sample as well.
