The air bubble detector for non-contact detection identifies air- and gas bubbles in liquid filled tubes from the outside through the tube wall.
Due to the high sensor reliability as well as the potential utilization in the medical, pharmaceutical and food industry sector, there exist numerous applications for the ultrasound based control procedure. The sensors control for example the liquid transport in dialysis machines, infusion pumps or at transfusions.
Besides the customized sensors we produce standardized air bubble detectors for industrial applications. The industrial ABD is used in the field of industrial process measurement and control, e.g. as a control module for dosing and filling systems. Furthermore, the sensors are used for function monitoring in analysis devices.

Endevco® Model 2771C-XX remote charge converter (RRC) is an ultra low noise, two-wire, single-ended device, designed for use with piezoelectric transducers. This device transforms the transducer’s high impedance charge output to a low impedance voltage proportional to the transducer’s charge. The signal output from the RCC is less susceptible to noise pick-up because of its low impedance voltage. Also, the shunt capacitance of the cable connecting the RCC to the main conditioner does not significantly affect the noise and sensitivity of the system.
The signal output from the RCC and the current to the RCC are carried with the same wire. The 2771C has fixed gains of 0.1 mV/pC, 1.0 mV/pC, 10 mV/pC. This is a low noise device. It operates within a constant current range of 4-20 mA.
This unit supports the proposed IEEE P1451.4 TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet); a memory chip that allows storage and recall of the following sensor data: sensitivity, model number, serial number, manufacturer, date of last calibration and sensor location.

SONOPIPE 12, the non-intrusive ultrasonic pig signaler, was developed for the detection of pigs in pipelines. It controls the passage of cleaning- and testing pigs in pipes for oil, liquid gases and water.
The advantage of this easy and reliable method is the outside coupling of the sensors at the pipes, so there is no wear. Furthermore, environmental risks due to dangerous holes in pipeline walls, as in systems with mechanical pig detectors, belong to the past.
The installation as well as the set up are easy and can be carried out during line operations. The sensors are certified after ATEX.

These devices are designed for low cost mobile and consumer electronics applications.
QMatrix™ technology employs transverse charge-transfer sensing electrode designs which can be made very compact and are easily wired. Charge is forced from an emitting electrode into the overlying panel dielectric, and then collected on a receiver electrode which directs the charge into a sampling capacitor which is then converted directly to digital form without the use of amplifiers.
Keys are configured in a matrix format that minimizes the number of required scan lines and device pins. The key electrodes can be designed into a conventional Printed Circuit Board (PCB) or Flexible Printed Circuit Board (FPCB) as a copper pattern, or as printed conductive ink on plastic film.
