Following the state-of-the-art trend in automation for decentralized systems without cabinets MTM Power has designed the new series PM-IP67A with 50, 75, 100, 150 and 200 W. Remarkable feature of the primary switched modules is that they are suitable for applications with protection degree IP67 for different tasks in indoor and outdoor industrial applications. Without any additional protection against harsh environmental conditions these power supplies can be mounted and used just at the place where needed. The compact power supplies with AC and DC wide input range are designed for worldwide use and are available with single and dual outputs of 5, 12, 15, 24, 36, 48, ±12, ±24, ±36, ±48 and 12/24 VDC. Their dimensions are 166,0 x 85,0 x 35,0 mm and they are connected via 7/8" connectors. The devices are vacuum encapsulated, acc. to Protection Class 2 and comply with the Low Voltage Directives as well as with the up-to-date EMC Standards as regards CE Conformity. Further features are rugged design, SMD-technology, automatic 100 % final test and 100-%-burn-in-test. The TEX-120 series is a range of sealed fieldpower supplies for applications in
harsh outdoor environment. The die-cast aluminium case is water-(incl. salt water), ice, dust and oil resistant to IP67 and NEMA4X requirements.
The construction is shock and vibration proof.The operating temperature range
is specified from -40°C to +85°C without any derating.

The 41-720 range of Fixed Power Supply modules provides the user with up to 4 separate voltage outputs isolated from the PXI backplane. Any combination of 3.3V. 5V. 12V or 15V can be specified with a maximum current capability of 4A for the 3.3V option Software provides on/off control and status monitoring for each output.
Programmable Power Supplies provide voltage outputs which are fully adjustable under software control. The 40-735 delivers posilive 10V and the 40-736 delivers negative 10V. both with a maximum current of 1A. The output voltage can either be derived from the PXI chassis supply or from an external source.
The 41-740/741 are dual Programmable Power Supplies and can deliver up to 48V at 2A. They are fed from an external AC mains, or DC 56V supply.

Transformers with motor-driven tap changers can be controlled with automatic voltage regulators.
Actuation of the motor drive leads to a voltage change by one tap. If the difference between actual voltage and set-point exceeds a certain limit, a regulation comand ("up", "down") is initiated.
SPRECON-E-C-AVR can be adapted to customer-specific requirements to the greatest possible extent. Moreover, several units can be operated in parallel mode, which is based on the master/follower principle. Thereby, the circulating reactive current is monitored.

The AIC1821 battery protection IC is designed to protect lithium-ion battery from damage or degrading the lifetime due to overcharge, overdischarge, and/or overcurrent for one-cell lithium-ion battery powered systems, such as cellular phones. The ultra-small package and less required external components make it ideal to integrate the AIC1821 into the limited space of battery pack.
The accurate ¡Ó50mV overcharging detection voltage ensures safe and full utilization charging. Four different specification values for overcharge protection voltage are provided for various protection requirements. The very low standby current drains little current from the cell while in storage.

SMB135 - Programmable Switch-mode, USB/AC Input Li+ Battery Charger with TurboCharge™ Mode*
The SMB135 is a programmable single-cell lithium-ion/lithium-polymer battery charger for a variety of portable applications. The device provides a simple and efficient way to charge high-capacity Li-Ion batteries via a USB port or an AC adapter. Unlike conventional devices, the SMB135’s high-efficiency operation eliminates large internal temperature rise and localized hot spot in handheld equipment. Summit’s proprietary TurboCharge™ mode allows a 750mA charge current from a 500mA USB port, resulting to significantly reduced charge times.
The SMB135 offers a wide variety of features that protect the battery pack as well as the charger and input circuitry: over-current, under/over-voltage and thermal protection. Ultra-precise, 1% accurate, Kelvin-sensed ADOC™ technology allows accurate control of battery float voltage and improves battery capacity utilization. Status can be monitored via the serial port for charge state and fault conditions. In addition, one LED driver output can be used to signal charge status or an under-/over-voltage condition. The AIC1845 is a micropower charge pump DC/DC converter that produces a regulated 5V output. The input voltage range is 2.7V to 5.0V. Extremely low operating current (13uA typical with no load) and a low external-part count (one 0.22uF flying capacitor and two small bypass capacitors at VIN and VOUT ) make the AIC1845 ideally suitable for small, battery-powered ap-plications.
The AIC1845 operates as a PSM (Pulse Skip-ping Modulation) mode switched capacitor volt-age doubler to produce a regulated output and features with thermal shutdown capability and short circuit protection.

The product family PMG/PCMG with DC input voltage completes the range of primary switched MTM Power Modules. The modules offer an input range of 20...72 VDC and allow - due to the different types available in this series - efficient solutions in numerous application fields. They are available with single, dual or triple outputs. The single and dual (sym.) versions are UL 60 950 and UL 508 approved. Dimensions are 90,5 x 65,5 x 33,5 mm for PCB-mounting (PMG) and 120,0 x 65,5 x 33,0 mm for chassis mounting (PCMG). Thus, they offer the same dimensions and pinning as the standard AC/DC and low voltage modules of the same wattage range which allows the customer to design only one layout for standard AC, low voltage and DC input.
