Articulating Boom Lifts with their up-and-over configuration, are the most versatile boom lifts in the JLG product range. Ideal for reaching up and over machinery, equipment, and other obstacles mounted on floors, or for reaching other elevated positions not easily approached by a straight boom lift. The machine’s turntable may be rotated 360 degrees; the upper boom can be raised or lowered from almost vertical to below horizontal, and extended (telescoped) while the work platform remains level. All articulating models are driveable at full elevation, subject to satisfactory ground conditions, and some models have narrow chassis widths to help provide access to confined work areas. JLG offers 11 diesel powered articulating boom lift models, ranging from 15.5 m to 47.5 m working height.

Articulating boom lifts (knuckle booms) are used for reaching up and over machinery, equipment, and other obstacles mounted on floors, and for reaching other elevated positions not easily approached by a straight (telescopic) boom lift. The machine's turntable may be rotated 360 degrees in either direction. The boom can be raised or lowered from vertical to below horizontal, and extended (telescoped) while the work platform remains horizontal and stable. It can be maneuvered forward or backward and steered in any direction by the operator from the work platform, even while the basket is elevated. All articulating models are driveable at full elevation and have chassis widths that provide access to narrow industrial aisleways and congested work areas.

ELECTRIC AND BI-ENERGY Z-BOOM
Genie's efficient DC machines offer quiet, emission-free operation in the most sensitive work environments. For industrial applications where the machine must be driven significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the benefits of a 48V DC machine with the versatility of a diesel-powered generator. These units handle challenging jobs all day long, giving you the power to get where you need to go quickly and easily with soft-riding pneumatic tyres, excellent manoeuvrability and zero tailswing. Optional non-marking air- and foam-filled tyres also make these models great for industrial applications.
Lift, manoeuvre and travel all day with the bi-energy model. The on-board diesel-powered generator acts like a 100 amp battery charger to provide enough electrical power to operate all boom functions, even when the batteries are fully discharged.

JLG’s range of scissor lifts is designed for applications where more workspace and lifting capacity are required rather than outreach. The scissor lift provides a large platform work area and allows for heavier loads – for example large sheets of wall cladding. JLG’s range of electric scissor lifts cover a multitude of applications – both inside and out. JLG offer three ranges of electric scissor lifts – ES series, LE series and LiftLux™ Electric Series – providing a versatile choice to suit all types of applications. Scissor lifts are used where less outreach but more workspace and lifting capacity are required. They are designed to provide larger platform work areas to walk on and generally allow for heavier loads than boom lifts. Scissor lifts may be manouevred in a manner similar to boom lifts but the platform may be raised only vertically, except for a deck extension that provides some horizontal outreach and additional working area.

DuoRam - Hydr. Single-Ram-Lifts
The original version of all lifts, invented in 1924, is the single-ram underfloor lift, which is still of great importance in modern workshops. In certain areas it is the only one to provide ideal working conditions.
To mention just a few of them, e.g the washing bay, the pre-paint area and the numerous repair works that require the vehicle to be freely accessible from all sides.
The new developed DuoRam combines all advantages of a single-ram lift and of a two-ram lift. Two hydraulic cylinders - which building two independing units - grant that the lifted vehicled is safe lifted even in case of failure in one hydraulic circuit. Optimised arrangement of two compact combined guide bars generate a torsion and bending rigidity which is unknow until now.
This innovative lift accomplishes the DIN en 1493 (for vehicles lifts) through its redundant safety system - because safety comes first!
