By using crawlers instead of professional tires, our machines can move on to unpaved ground, and there is no need to use outriggers during operation. Hitachi's aerial platforms use hydraulics instead of electricity for basic operation. This makes for easy and smooth operation. The design for these machines is based on Hitachi professional excavators. Niftylift's self drive platforms have working heights of up to 20.70m (68ft) and 21m (69ft). Combining the capabilities of professional trailer mounts and self propelled booms they are compact, lightweight and manoeuvrable. Driven from the platform while stowed, 4WD chassis options maximise traction and hydraulic outriggers allow fast setup even on rough terrain. Easy to use proportional controls make operation simple and features such as telescopic booms, fly-booms/jibs and cage rotation maximise their effectiveness on any task.
Power options available include battery, petrol/gas, diesel and Bi-Energy (e.g. battery & diesel), combining the benefits of two power sources on the same machine.*

Genie Z-45/25 & Z-45/25JDC Bi-Energy Booms

Large Platform with Hydraulic Rotation

| Articulating Boom Lifts with their up-and-over configuration, are the most versatile boom lifts in the JLG product range. Ideal for reaching up and over machinery, equipment, and other obstacles mounted on floors, or for reaching other elevated positions not easily approached by a straight boom lift. The machine’s professional turntable may be rotated 360 degrees; the upper boom can be raised or lowered from almost vertical to below horizontal, and extended (telescoped) while the work platform remains level. All articulating models are driveable at full elevation, subject to satisfactory ground conditions, and some models have narrow chassis widths to help provide access to confined work areas. JLG offers 11 diesel powered articulating boom lift models, ranging from 15.5 m to 47.5 m working height. |

Articulating boom lifts (knuckle booms) are used for reaching up and over machinery, equipment, and other obstacles mounted on floors, and for reaching other elevated positions not easily approached by a straight (telescopic) boom lift. The machine's professional turntable may be rotated 360 degrees in either direction. The boom can be raised or lowered from vertical to below horizontal, and extended (telescoped) while the work platform remains horizontal and stable. It can be maneuvered forward or backward and steered in any direction by the operator from the work platform, even while the basket is elevated. All articulating models are driveable at full elevation and have chassis widths that provide access to narrow industrial aisleways and congested work areas.

DuoRam - Hydr. Single-Ram-Lifts
The original version of all lifts, invented in 1924, is the single-ram underfloor lift, which is still of great importance in modern workshops. In certain areas it is the only one to provide ideal working conditions.
To mention just a few of them, e.g the washing bay, the pre-paint area and the numerous repair works that require the vehicle to be freely accessible from all sides.
The new developed DuoRam combines all advantages of a single-ram lift and of a two-ram lift. Two manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders - which building two independing units - grant that the lifted vehicled is safe lifted even in case of failure in one hydraulic circuit. Optimised arrangement of two compact combined guide bars generate a torsion and bending rigidity which is unknow until now.
