Most microscope objectives are optimized for the same object-to-image distance. This allows objectives to be interchanged without refocusing. Most Melles Griot objectives have an object-to-image distance of 195 mm because long focal lengths are required to maintain both the same image plane (150 mm from the mounting shoulder) and good image quality. All objectives are achromatic and have industry-standard microscope threads for cross compatibility.
The visible, infrared, and infinite-conjugate microscope objectives from Melles Griot are achromatic (i.e., color corrected at 656.3 nm and 486.1 nm). The RMS mounting thread (0.8 inch, 36 TPI) matches the industry standard making these objectives compatible with non- Melles Griot microscopes. Color coding makes identifying objective power easy when numerical markings cannot be seen. Visible objectives are antireflection coated for 400 to 700 nm; infrared objectives are antireflection coated for 1300 to 1500 nm.

Economical and Flexible
With the Axio Scope.A1, Carl Zeiss provides a flexible, high-performance modular microscope platform specially designed for routine applications in materials microscopy. New instrument solutions and the high-quality EC Epiplan line of objectives will meet the demands of users faced with specific routine tasks in materialography. This new generation of microscopes has been tailored to the requirements of quality inspection, damage analysis and production inspection.
The extreme flexibility of the microscope is achieved with five upper parts, three lower parts and two Vario columns which can be selected for the respective requirements and combined into an optimally customized system. The Axio Scope A.1 offers exceptionally large scalability of the sample area for numerous applications which can be continuously set for sample sizes up to 380 mm, depending on the configuration. 2-position sliders, 4-position and 6-position reflector turrets are available as reflector modules, depending on the application.
Axio Scope.A1 enables innovative techniques such as C-DIC and PlasDIC. The line of high-contrast EC Epiplan objectives was specially developed for routine applications. They produce a flat image for a 23 mm field and are available in brightfield and brighfield/darkfield versions. As they are produced with low strain, they are ideal for high-quality DIC microscopy. This line of objectives enables the innovative C-DIC technique (Differential Interference Contrast in circularly polarized light) with only a single prism.

AD413TL-MA1-Dino-Lite PRO2
The AD413TL-MA1-Dino-Lite PRO2 digital microscope unique feature is that it has detachable front covers; it comes with a standard transparent front cap for normal use, a closed cap that is designed to protect the lens and built-in LED lights from dust, debris, and moisture, and an additional special accessory for this model is an included angel mirrored cap to look into tight spaces such as BGA inspection.
Another unique feature is that this model is a long working distance model giving the user more distance to work with at higher mag.
It also includes an amazing yet easy to use MicroTouch trigger. The MicroTouch feature on the Dino-Lite gives users the option of taking a picture right from the scope itself. The MicroTouch was designed to minimize image blur while taking a picture with the microscope, which is useful on those moments when the computer is hard to reach.
Included with the Dino-Lite digital microscope is a copy of the “DinoCapture” software, enabling you to “capture” either a photograph, video, or time-lapsed video within a few simple clicks. This model comes with the full version of DinoCapture software which includes measurement and measurement calibration for greater precision work. As for all DinoCapture software though, updates with improvements to the software is always free.

The Alpha Stereo Binocular Microscope utilises Vision Engineering's patented ISIS Exit Pupil Expansion technology to provide up to 10x greater freedom of head position than conventional binocular eyepiece systems.
ISIS technology expands the available optical pupil by means of multilenticular optical surfaces, allowing the operator more than 38mm of head freedom from the eyepieces.
Alpha eliminates the need for users to precisely align their eye with the centre of each eyepiece. A small movement of the eye no longer means losing part of the field of vision, as the pupil easily stays within the latitude of the twelve-times-wider exit ray bundle.
Users can simply move their eyes to view the full image area, rather than repositioning their heads or the workpiece to operate within the constraints of a narrow conventional exit field.
Spectacles or contact lenses can thus be worn in comfort during use.
