Economical and robust, the Milroyal G pumps dose all traditional liquids used in water treatment and industrial processes including: acids, bases, chlorinated products, coagulants, and other products. Designed for ease of maintenance and start-up, the Milroyal G features a robust HPD-style hydraulically actuated diaphragm liquid end coupled to a variable eccentric drive. The absence of contour plates in this liquid end results in "straight-thru" flow ideal for handling polymers and slurries. A unique integral 3-function valve allows for purging of any entrapped gases in the hydraulic oil without disturbing the relief valve setting. Also integral to the liquid end is a site glass for visual indication of a relief condition in the hydraulic system. The smooth sinusoidal flow produced by the variable eccentric drive minimizes flow pulsations and mechanical shock to system components.
Product Features:
HPD liquid end design eliminates contour plates.
Double diaphragm w/leak detection available (10/98).
Liquid End Materials: PVC, PVDF, 316SS.
High viscosity and slurry liquid end options.

A truely adaptable diaphragm dosing pump
Although our products perform well in many applications, we are always looking ahead to the market of tomorrow hoping to bring our visions into reality. We have therefore completely reworked the DMX 226 diaphragm dosing pump range. It has been redesigned and improved with new characteristics and features our competitors will find very difficult to beat:
DMX 226 is easy to handle, compact and robust in design, allowing many pumps to be installed side by side, neatly saving space.
The pressure relief valves are unique in design. The valves can be integrally fitted to the dosing head (optional), maximising system safety and by assisting suction and priming making commissioning quick and easy.
Selecting a DMX 226 in a duplex version with two dosing heads makes the dosing process particularly cost-effective. Two different chemicals can be dosed with a single pump. The many different combinations of dosing head and valve component materials make this possible.
DMX 226 duplex versions can also be used for cost effectively dosing larger flow rates.
The chemical resistance and application suitability of the DMX 226 is excellent due to the adaptable combinations of materials which come into contact with the dosed chemical. For example, special valves for caustic , abrasive chemicals or viscous liquids are available in all sizes and ranges.
Additionally all DMX 226 models can be fitted with easy-to-use Etron Profi control electronics. The electronics can be fitted directly onto the pump or supplied as a separate module for wall mounting.

Bellows metering pumps operate on a positive displacement principle. Pumps are designed to displace both corrosive and non corrosive fluids. Accurate and repeatable to 0.5% from stroke to stroke, when pump is set 50% to 100% of full stroke. Dry run capability, self priming, and no dynamic seals. Discharge pressure is maintained over the entire flow range of the pump. Poppet valves are utilized to prevent backflow; and springs are available to provide a positive shutoff, preventing siphoning through the pump in applications where a positive suction head exists.
Typical applications include film and x-ray processors, silver recovery systems, wafer and silicon chip washers and processors, detergent dispensers, blood analyzing equipment, industrial floor scrubbers, thermo therapy equipment, waste removal systems, and wastewater and water treatment systems.

Corrosion resistant, multi-purpose pump
Manufactured using a combination of polypropylene and synthetic rubber, the pumps in this series can handle acids, alkalis, and various corrosive chemical solutions. Furthermore, capable of dry run operation and self-priming, these pumps can be used for multiple purposes as desired.
Leakage-free, safe structure
Since the pumps in this series are free of shaft seal, there is no trouble caused by liquid leakage. Also, the pump has its motor protected with a cover.
Superior durability
The specially designed bellows, molded as a single body, can ensure tens of millions of expansion and contraction cycles. Combined with its rugged drive mechanism, the pump provides superior durability.
Wide range of discharge capacity
The pump provides three types of flow rates by changing its bellows. Moreover, if the pump is a multi-head type, proportionate injection of several different liquids is also possible.

Bartels Mikrotechnik Quickens Appetite for the Upcoming Micropump mp6
Bartels Mikrotechnik works in the run-up to the launch of the next generation of micropumps, scheduled for the end of 2008. The micropump variant mp5² and an improved version of the controller electronics are now available as the youngest members of the Bartels Mikrotechnik microfluidic product family.
New Pump as an Appetizer
Combining two pumps to function as one small power pack, the mp5² provides a foretaste of the upcoming mp6's benefits. This completely new generation of pumps will feature a double actuator inside a single polymer housing. Although still working with two actuators in separate housings, the mp5² already exhibits the most important advantage of the mp6: Double pressure.
When driven by the optimal signal, the piezo actuators of two serially combined mp5 pumps can handle back pressures of up to 500 mbar, still reaching a maximum flow rate of 5 ml/min. Compared with one mp5, an improved compression behavior leads to better self priming and higher bubble tolerance. Thus gas-liquid-mixtures can be transported easily with the mp5².

Application
Diaphragm pumps of the NT-series are oilfree dry running pumps for the generation of vacuum as well as the delivery and evacuation of gases and vapours. In chemical laboratories they are the more powerfull and modern alternative to water jet pumps, because they are more friendly to the environment at minimized operation and maintenance costs. Typical applications: on vacuum drying chambers, for distillation, drying, and vacuum filtering but also as backing pump for turbo-molecular pumps, gas transfer and the like. The pumps produce little noise and vibrations and are therefore ideal for installation in sensitive devices (e.g. chemical analysis).
Advantages
There are one-, two- three- and four-stage pumps available. The vacuum performance has been increased considerably, which expands the application field for both laboratory and industrial use. The one-stage pumps are designed for an ultimate vacuum of 70 mbar, the two-stage pumps for 7 mbar, the three-stage pumps for down to 1 mbar and the four-stage pumps for 0.5 mbar. International Protection code for all NT models is IP 42 (except those with switchable dual-voltage motors). The NT pumps are designed very compact and are exceptionally quiet and smooth-running. Smooth housing surfaces (except for the two-cylinder aluminium version) make the NT diaphragm pumps easy to clean. On the whole the pumps work almost maintenance-free. All models have easily changeable valves and diaphragms.
