EC 750 is a new and unique BLDC motor controller for the growing market of energy saving fans etc. It is also a SENSORLESS controller, so the need for positioning sensors in the EC motors are past….
Compared to traditional Frequency inverters and AC motors, the new
EC 750 and attached BLDC motor can save between 20-30% of energy.
It is a GREEN product that meets new environmental demands around the world. Moreover, EC motors have a flat characteristic, so the moment of inertia is almost constant during the controllable speed range.
EC 750 employs the newest "state of the art" technology within sensorless control of BLDC motors, and will be best suited for environmental demands in the future. Saving energy, saving the planet, saving money …
Motors have to be matched to the controller for optimum performance and energy savings. Motron works together with suppliers of this kind of motors and will support this part as well.
EC 750 comes as a “plug and play” unit. Connect power and motor, analogue control and that’s it! Multiple safety functions makes the controller extremely robust, and the integrated EMC filter ensures CE compatibility.
Also, the EC 750 can be controlled digitally . RS 485 interface and Modbus protocol will deal with that shortly.
The TRM Range of Analogue Amplifier is a breakthrough in amplifier technology. Utilising the latest in electronic techniques, this compact current mode amplifier is capable of driving brushed DC Servo motors continuously at 100 volts and upto 20 amps depending on the model. Using the latest technology has enabled TRM to produce a small and very competitive amplifier.
Easily capable of fulfilling most applications requirements, the 10/100 is built onto a large heatsink and is enclosed in a case that also acts as a mounting bracket.
Connections are made via two connectors, one for the low voltage signals and the other for the higher voltage motor supply and drive connections.
The DC analogue amplifier has all the major features expected: Gain, Offset, Current limit control, Enable and Error indicators and a ± 10 volt input signal range.
The opto-isolated amplifier enable signal is capable of being driven high or low depending on the users application.
