The relief valve SV is designed to prevent undesired pressure increases in case of dosing pumps, and to mantain working pressure to a constant level. Whenever upstream pressure exceeds the calibration points the valve opens due to fluid, in order to reduce pressure in the line to the desired level. Valve closes when working pressure on the piston falls to the calibration pressure.
