The VFC500 variable AC power source delivers up to 500VA at any frequency 40 … 440Hz; output voltage is continuously adjustable from 0 … 264Vrms. The unit uses PWM technology to synthesize a precision regulated sinusoidal output with less than 5% total harmonic distortion at full load and a frequency stability of ± 0.1%. The 95-264VAC at 47Hz to 410Hz input is power factor corrected. The use of components with established reliability results in a high demonstrated MTBF. The VFC500 is manufactured at our plant under strict quality control. Customized versions are also available. The unit is suitable for a wide range of industrial, engineering, academic and laboratory applications including the simulation of voltage and frequency deviations for equipment under development, quality control, safety approval, testing and verifying operation of electrical equipment for export markets. The unit can also be used as a compact AC frequency converter.
