OverviewCSI 1K F31-HSA series DC-AC inverters use microprocessor-controlled high-frequency PWM technology to generate up to 1 kVA of pure sine wave output. The inverters operate from a 36Vdc, 48Vdc, 125Vdc or 250Vdc power source. A 24Vdc input version is available with derating to 750VA. Output options include 115 Vac continuous at 60 Hz or 400 Hz, and 230 Vac continuous at 50 Hz. Typical full-load efficiency is approximately 80%. Optional features include an output-fail alarm (Form C) and remote shutdown.
Mechanical construction and coolingThe units are convection-cooled via a custom heatsink assembly (HSA) with fins attached to the under-surface. This arrangement permits mounting on uneven or thermally non-conductive surfaces (e.g. wood, plastic, brick) and operation without fans or external heatsinking. The heatsink assembly can be chassis-mounted or fitted to a 19 in panel. Designed to operate over -25°C to +50°C for full specification without derating.
