Overview
The Ariel JGM and JGP are compact reciprocating compressors designed for gas gathering, gas lift and CNG applications. They couple with a wide range of high-speed engines and handle up to 170 BHP. Available in 1-throw and 2-throw frame configurations, these compressors support up to four stages of compression via an extensive cylinder library.

Product Features

• Rugged crossheads: One-piece crossheads with hardened, ground steel pins and full-pressure lubrication at top and bottom to minimize wear.
• Versatile unloading devices: Manual head-end variable volume clearance pockets (VVCP) on most cylinders; pneumatic suction valve unloaders available for selected applications.
• High-efficiency oil filters: Non-bypass spin-on oil filters rated 5-micron nominal and 17-micron absolute.
• Innovative cylinder designs: Cylinders usable across wide pressure ranges and combinable in multiple configurations; Ariel 7 performance software used for compressor modeling and configuration.

Materials

• Gray iron crankcase: Forged steel crankshaft, gray iron crosshead guide, tri-metal main bearing.
• Gray iron crosshead: Alloy steel crosshead pin.
• Ductile connecting rod: Bronze crosshead pin bushing, tri-metal connecting rod bearing, grade 8 tension bolts.
