Product OverviewThe KBU and KBZ are large, medium-speed reciprocating separable compressors designed as a cost-effective compression method for applications requiring large-horsepower drivers and high-compression capacity. These compressors are capable of handling high rod loads of 150,000 lbs.
ApplicationsParticularly useful for gas processing in midstream applications. Ariel's reciprocating compressors provide efficient capacity control as suction volumes and pressures fluctuate when new wells come online.
Product Features- High-Efficiency Oil Filters: Canister style filters rated at 1-micron nominal and 12-micron absolute.
- Versatile Unloading Devices: Manual, head-end variable volume clearance pockets (VVCP) on most cylinders; pneumatic suction valve unloaders available on a limited basis.
- High-Strength Bolting: Durable grade 8 bolting on all loaded joints, with specially designed fatigue-fighting bolts on all valve caps to ensure fastening strength.
- Innovative Cylinders: Cylinders designed to operate across wide pressure ranges using valves that balance reliability and performance. Cylinder combinations allow many configurations to deliver precise volume and pressure requirements. Ariel 7 Performance Software is used for modeling and designing compressor configurations.
