A non-intrusive, intelligent fail-safe linear electric actuator designed for ON/OFF and continuous modulation control in safety-critical environments. The compact mechanical spring-return architecture triggers fail-safe action on loss of power or command signal without relying on super-capacitor or battery backup. The actuator provides absolute position detection with 0.1% resolution and configurable speed settings, making it suitable for valves in oil & gas, power, chemical, HVAC and water & wastewater applications.
