Overview
This LoRaWAN pulse sensor is designed for remote reading and monitoring of pulse-type gas meters. It supports dry contact and open collector inputs to count meter pulses and periodically transmits meter readings via LoRa radio, enabling conversion of conventional gas meters into connected meters.

Radio performance
Radio frequency EU868. Typical radio range exceeds 5 km in open terrain using LoRa modulation (range depends on environment and network).

Battery and autonomy
Powered by a replaceable 3.6V Type D lithium battery (D-cell). Typical battery life up to 15 years depending on configuration (transmission interval) and site conditions. Replacement battery reference: BAT D 1000-029.

Safety certification
Certified ATEX Zone 0 for operation in explosive atmospheres, permitting safe installation in hazardous areas such as fuel stations and similar environments.

Use modes

• LoRaWAN mode: Transmit data over public or private LoRaWAN networks. Sensor data can be decoded and mapped for integration into BMS via native decoding and mapping to Modbus tables or BACnet objects when used with compatible gateways.
• LoRa Easy mode: Send data to an LoRa Easy receiver. LoRa Easy receivers (Modbus, BACnet, HTTP versions) can receive data from multiple Enless sensors and natively decode and convert sensor data into Modbus tables, BACnet objects, or JSON for HTTP servers.

Connection to gas meter
Supports dry contact and open collector inputs for pulse detection. Compatible with common meter interface cables (example cable options shown on product page). Designed for secure mounting and electrical connection to the meter pulse output.
