Quick-release fastener with ball bearing QCWES series

Description
These heavy-duty ball-locking pins provide secure locking in quick-change applications with frequent insertion and removal. The fastener pin mounts to the fixture while the matching ball-locking receptacle mounts to the base. Rotating the knob expands the balls to lock the fixture; turning the knob to "OFF" retracts the balls for tool-free removal. The tapered pin end facilitates alignment. Suitable for pairing with locating pins for accurate positioning.

Materials
Body: electroless nickel-plated 4140 steel.
Wedge: nickel-plated 4135 steel, quenched and tempered.
Knob: 304 stainless steel.
Balls: 440C stainless steel, quenched and tempered.

Usage / Notes
Designed for use with matching ball-locking receptacles. Fastener pin mounts to the fixture; receptacle mounts to the base.
