Moving contact rivets are designed for electrical contacts that move or rotate during operation. They are commonly used in switches, relays, and other electrical devices that require sliding or rotating contacts.
The manufacturing process for moving contact rivets typically involves three steps. Firstly, a suitable contact material is chosen, which could be silver alloy, copper alloy, or other conductive metals. Secondly, the material is formed into wire or strip that is suitable for the size and shape of the rivet. Finally, the wire or strip is cut to the required length according to the customer's project drawing, and shaped into the head and shaft of the rivet.
HLC uses advanced processes and technologies to ensure that our customers' moving contact rivets meet the highest quality and performance standards. We also apply a coating to the shaft of the rivet during the packaging stage to reduce friction and wear during operation before they are shipped to the customer.
Advantages of Silver Contacts:
1` Silver rivets and Ag/Cu bimetal contacts: Pure silver has high electrical and thermal conductivity, good plasticity, and resistance to arc corrosion, with extremely low contact resistance.
2` AgCu copper electrical rivets: This contact has good conductivity and is not easily oxidized on the surface.
3` AgNi/Cu bimetal electrical contacts: This type of contact is widely used as an electrical contact in low-voltage engineering for AC switches.
4` AgSnO2 and AgSnO2 In2O3 bimetal copper contacts: AgSnO2 and AgSnO2In2O3 are ideal environmentally friendly materials that replace AgCdO.
