The mica insulated busbar is designed for high-performance electrical applications requiring both excellent conductivity and reliable insulation. Manufactured from copper or aluminum, the conductor ensures stable current transmission, while the mica wrapping provides outstanding heat resistance, electrical insulation, and flame-retardant properties. With a machining tolerance of ±0.01 mm, every piece is produced with precision to meet strict industrial standards. This product is widely used in power distribution systems, high-voltage equipment, and environments where safety and durability under extreme temperatures are critical.
Products process
The production of mica insulated busbars begins with the selection of high-quality copper or aluminum, chosen for its superior electrical conductivity. The raw material is cut and machined to precise dimensions using CNC processing, ensuring a tolerance of ±0.01 mm for consistent accuracy.
Next, the busbar undergoes surface preparation, including cleaning and deburring, to ensure strong adhesion of the mica layer. Layers of mica insulation are then carefully wrapped around the conductor. This step provides exceptional heat resistance and electrical insulation.
After wrapping, the busbar is pressed and cured to stabilize the mica insulation and prevent delamination during use. Finally, each piece goes through strict quality inspections, including dimensional checks, insulation resistance testing, and heat resistance validation. At HLC, our advanced manufacturing capabilities guarantee every busbar delivers reliable performance in demanding power and high-temperature environments.
